Harvard Undergraduate Society for Artificial Intelligence
Fellowship
See how we invest in ambitious AI projects at Harvard
About the Program
The HUSAI Fellows Program is a competitive fellowship from the Harvard Undergraduate Society for AI. We fund ambitious AI projects: novel research, open-source tools, applications, or anything you can pitch and execute. Selected fellows receive generous funding for compute (including up to B200 GPUs), API credits, or whatever your project needs.
The fellowship runs for one semester with a project deadline of June 1, 2026 (longer timelines considered on a case-by-case basis). Fellows have biweekly check-ins with HUSAI technical directors and are expected to produce work at a publishable standard, which will be showcased on the HUSAI website.
Open to all Harvard undergrads and graduate students.
What We're Looking For
- •A clear, ambitious project proposal (research, engineering, or something creative)
- •Evidence of drive and the ability to execute
- •A timeline and plan for how funding will be used
Why Apply?
HUSAI maintains close relationships with leading AI organizations including OpenAI, Anthropic, premier VCs, as well as a growing network of early-stage startups. Each year, we bring a select group to visit these organizations at their headquarters and engage directly with the people building the frontier. As a Fellow, you'll be part of a community with real proximity to the industry, and get an in.

Accepted Fellows will be provided more details on the program.
