Algorithms and ML for Computational Social Policy with Madison Coots and Hans Gaebler

The HCS AI Group is hosting another talk in its Speaker Series about computational social policy, using algorithms and machine learning (ML) to study and improve social problems.

The speakers are Madison Coots from the Department of Public Policy and Hans Gaebler from the Department of Statistics. They use computer and statistics tools to better understand issues like mass incarceration, hiring discrimination, and other problems where data, technology, and policy overlap.

The talk is on Wednesday, February 7, from 7:30–8:15 PM. You can learn more at hcsaigroup.org, join through tinyurl.com/HCSAIGgroup, and RSVP for the Zoom link at tinyurl.com/HCSAITalk.
