RL and Computational Neuroscience with Sam Gershman

The HCS AI Group is hosting a talk in its Speaker Series about reinforcement learning and computational neuroscience (how learning and the brain can be studied with math and computer models).

The speaker is Sam Gershman, a professor in the Department of Psychology and the Center of Brain Science. He studies how people think and learn by combining ideas from artificial intelligence, cognitive science, and biology. His lab builds models of human thinking and then tests them with behavior studies and brain measurements.

The talk is on Wednesday, January 31, from 7–8 PM, in Sever Hall, Room 106. Food will be provided.
